PhotoHunt again...

This is a photo of "The Hut" that my brother & his friends built up in the wilderness of a certain ski hill. They trekked in super deep snow & built this with the tools they could carry up there with them. They disguised it as best they could among the trees so Ski Patrol wouldn't find it & tear it down as they have so many other times. The guys are able to ski right into The Hut, relax, then ski out again when they're done.

Word is that Ski Patrol finally came across it & rather than tear it down, left their stamp of approval! The Hut still lives!

wow, it didn't look easy for them to have built it up there.

Wow, to build something that big must have taken them a while. Can hardly see it in the first picture. And the view is truly breathtaking. Great photos, and thanks for sharing.

AMAZING what a group of young men can get accomplished if they put their mind too it.

Too bad that quality doesn't stick after marriage! HA!

Great pictures!

Very creative! I'm glad the ski patrol decided it could stay. I'm sure they are only concerned about safety.

Well I am impressed! I don't ski but I know how difficult snow that deep is to travel in. It isn't just a hut; it is more like a camp! That took a lot of effort. It's so funny about the ski patrol!

What a fun idea! I've never been skiing, so I'm sure I'd need a place to rest!!

How cool. I wouldn't want to be in the hut, but I think it was very creative for them to build it. I LOVE the last photo! What an incredible view!

Welcome to Photo Hunt.

What a creative post full of wonderful creations in the snow. (I love snow so it was wonderful to view it during thee hot month of July.) I, too, am glad they didn't tear it down. Bet it serves as a reminder fo some great memories.
